The Help
9 October - 28 November 2008The Help was written by acclaimed playwright Sarah Woods. The play shows the complicated needs of three very different relationships to the care system: a domestic servant in the UK caring for other people’s children in order to send money home to her family in the Philippines; a troubled young man whose mother can’t cope with him anymore and is placed in care, and a hostel worker – paid to care – but does he?
