Acting for Theatre & For Life
Every Monday 3-5 pm (10 weeks)

What qualities do we need to develop as actors and in life?
An exploration of the actor’s process and the connections between thoughts, feelings and behaviour with Cardboard Citizen’s Director of Projects, Tony McBride

Forum Theatre
Every Wednesday 6-8 pm (10 Weeks)

This popular workshop introduces the theory, practise and application of Forum Theatre. Led by Cardboard Citizens Associate Artist Terry O’Leary, this is an essential course in using theatre to rehearse changes in life and it is also great fun.

Get a PEARL Qualification

If you attend a project for over 30 hours, you might qualify to recieve a qualification.

PEARL (NQF Level 2) is a qualification that measures personal and social skills and has been designed especially for people who take part in arts projects. PEARL is recognised by education providers and employers. This might give you the first step you need to get onto a college course.

If you are interested: ask your workshop leader or a member of staff.

Note: If you've never been to Crisis Skylight, please be aware you'll need to register for their services. You can do this on the door, before or after the workshop.

“(The project) displays two key qualities of great work in schools. Firstly it demonstrates how gifted practitioners will make young people achieve far beyond our expectations. Secondly it reveals how accessible Shakespeare is when it is learnt through performance. An inspired matching of play, theatre company and cast!”
